Orphanage Fundraising

Our fundriasing aim since 2020 has been to raise enough money to educate and provide living expenses for 8 children for a whole year and we make it each time thanks to everyone's kindness and generosity. We have been supporting this charity since 2016 and it's been wonderful to see how it's grown and developed as they now have a centre for women also & more recently a domestic abuse centre.

The Thannal Balashramam Orphanage in Kerala is providing a nurturing and caring home for those who need it. We are always inspired by our visits to the centre and would like to continue supporting their efforts allowing them to maintain the high standards of care and support to their residents.

We have again set the target to raise enough money to support and educate 8 children at the Orphanage. Fundraising for 2024

We made it ! Our goal to raise enough to support 8 children for a year at Thannal has been achieved and the money delivered safely to the Orphanage on Sunday 20th October 2024. See the receipt photo below.

Fundraising for 2025

Thanks to the class raffle, some kids yoga fundraising events and some very generous donations by individuals we raised £1540 on our Just Giving Page and have rounded that up to £1600 which has been safely delivered to the Orphanage! Thanks again to everyone who has made this possible and for continuing to support the children and women at Thannal.
